We are all individuals and have different requirements when we move home. Some customers want to move as cheaply as possible and wish to do everything themselves, others prefer to have someone else take care of everything for them. That's why at Bideford Van Hire & Self Storage we offer a range of services to help people move home in a way that suits them best.

Self Drive Van Hire - Prices From £50 A Day

The most cost effective way to move. You simply hire one of our range of Vans and do everything yourself.

Van & Driver - Prices From £25 Per Hour (Min 2 Hours)

If you cant drive or don't have a licence, we can provide a van and driver. You and your friends & Family pack and load the van, when complete, we will then drive the van to your new home where you and your friends & family unpack.

Helpful Driver & Van - Prices From £50 Per Hour

If you need a little help with the larger items or another pair of hands we can provide a van and driver who will lend a hand where you need it.

Full Removal We specialise in 1 & 2 Bedroom House & Flats - Prices From £195

If you would rather sit back and let someone else take the strain we also provide a fully insured full removal service, where we take care of everything. You simply pack up your home and we do the rest. We even provide free boxes* on local moves. A Packing service is also available.

We specialise in 1 & 2 Bedroom Flat & House Moves but are happy to quote for larger properties up to 3 bedrooms. Our main areas covered are Bideford, Barnstaple & Torrington but we are happy to move you anywhere in the uk.

The more you do yourself the cheaper your removal price will be so before we arrive make sure you have:

Disconnected and drained down the washing machine and dishwasher
Defrosted emptied and dried the fridge and freezer
Taken apart any bed frames
Dismantle any garden children's play equipment
Removed and packed any items in drawers
Removed any items from the loft
Box up all your loose items and make sure the tops close for easy stacking
We will provide a special protective carry bag for LCD or Plasma TV's and wardrobe cartons for hanging clothes to be moved in.
